Boulder

I went to one of our two local climbing gyms to witness the Canadian Boulder Championships. Bouldering is climbing without a rope on -usually- not so high rocks. Indoor it’s a sport where you try to climb a difficult route by trying it over and over again. In this competition the contestants compete by climbing several ‘problems’ and they get points for reaching the highest hand hold.
This girl climbed really well and beautiful, but in another problem she had severe problems because her lack of height.
I’ve decided I’m going to try to climb again myself, although it’s unlikely I’ll be ever this good.

I’m going tonight for the first time to climb in Allez-Up, but I prefer real rock over plastic. So yes, I’m interested!

Hoera!! Looking forward to your first Canadian Trip Report. And an Allez-Up Report will do for the time being, I suppose.
