Patching the bigger holes in the walls so they can be tiled. I also installed an extra outlet next to the sink to use for hair blowers and razors. We use nor own neither of those but you never know. And it’s relative easy to install it now, and much harder to do when the wall is tiled. Officially you’re not allowed to do any electrical work yourself, but considering the current state of the electrical installation of this house, any modification I make is an improvement.

i don’t know much about this but i think you should have a master electrician look at any changes you make and rubber stamp them. otherwise if the building burnt down the owner might get squat in insurance money. (if you care… – although he might be able to sue you too because of that, so…)

If I have it inspected it will probably mean that the a large part of the electric installation needs to be replaced. I don’t think the landlord will like that. But I’ll discuss it with her.
