Yes, that happened when I decided to be clever and cook the spaghetti in the colander. I guess I forgot to tell the spaghetti it was supposed to stay inside the colander instead of diffusing to equalise the partial pressure of spaghetti on either side of the spaghetti-permeable membrane.
